Adult Education
Build A Miracle has an Accredited Adult Education school in Tijuana, Mexico where adults can receive their elementary, middle and high school degrees. We have 287 adults participating this year on the journey to earning their diplomas!
Our affiliation with federal programs INEA and CENEVAL allows us to help any person, of any age, achieve the dream of obtaining an education.
New confidence
A significant portion of the parents in the families we build homes for face educational challenges, with many lacking high school diplomas, and some never even completing elementary school. However, through their dedicated efforts in our accredited adult school programs, these parents not only earn their degrees, but also undergo a transformative journey where they gain confidence and empowerment. This program instills in them the belief that they can achieve remarkable accomplishments; through their hard work they learn that age is not a barrier to pursuing their dreams.
New Credentials
The BAM adult education program has facilitated the participation of hundreds of adults in their pursuit of elementary, middle, and high school diplomas. For the majority of these individuals, the achievement of their educational goals would have been unattainable without this program due to the financial constraints and considerable travel distances they would have faced if they had attempted to attend other adult education centers.
New Opportunities
Some of our adult students earned their high school diplomas through BAM and then went on to attend college! Other graduates have been able to obtain new jobs that they didn’t qualify for before because many positions require elementary or middle school degrees. And finally, many of our adult graduates have received promotions at work after receiving their diploma.
Carlos and Eliseo
At 56 years old, Carlos received his Middle School Diploma. He was tutored at the Community Center by Eliseo, one of our college scholarship students. Carlos worked so hard and is very proud of his accomplishment – the whole community is proud of his accomplishment as well!
