Dear friends of Build a Miracle,
First of all, we want to THANK YOU for changing the lives of 145 families. So far!
They now have a warm, safe place to live and grow together. They have a beautiful dining room that is well-lit and has a
nice table where they can do their homework instead of on the dirt floor in their old shack. The kids have their own bed
to sleep on, instead of sharing an old mattress with everybody else in their family. They have access to tutoring and free
classes at the Community Center and can even dream of going to college instead of dropping out of elementary or middle
school.
Ten of our amazing young people are in college, one in grad school. Thanks to their Build a Miracle scholarships, they are
LEADING THE WAY OUT OF POVERTY for their families and their community. Every one of them teaches dozens of other
people at the Community Center.
The cost of a new home is $10,000, which means that only $25 pays for one square foot of a new home for a deserving
family.
We, and even more importantly, our friends in Mexico, are forever grateful to those of you who have come down and
used your hands to help build, those who have developed friendships with the people there, and those who have
donated the money which makes it all possible.

| Our upcoming BUILD DAYS are: November 27, 2011 (including a Christmas Carnival for the kids in the afternoon) January 29, March 4, April 22, and June 3, 2012 |

If you would like to donate prizes, just bring them by our house by November 25. (address below)

donation goes to helping a family. There are no overhead or administration costs. $25 pays for
one square foot of a 400 square foot home. You can mail checks made out to Build a Miracle to the
address below.
